Nestled in the delightful rural setting of Boundary Farm in Saxtead, the Cartlodge is a superb one-bedroom holiday home, perfect for couples of all ages seeking a peaceful countryside retreat, and suitable for guests with reduced mobility. Set within around six acres of idyllic gardens, woodland and meadows, the property offers a fully equipped, open-plan kitchen, living and dining area with lovely views over the countryside on one side and the rear garden on the other.

Please note there's a small step up into the shower cubicle.

Great place to stay as I was seeing my Mum in Framlingham. Lovely and quiet and just what I needed. Thanks very much and very enjoyable peaceful stay.

The Cartlodge was a great base for our long weekend in Suffolk. It was comfortable and ideal for exploring Framlingham and the coast. The games room was an added benefit! The instructions to find the Cartlodge were clear, and it was easy to check in and out. The Old Mill House pub is walkable (take a torch if walking back late!) and does a daily carvery. Framlingham is slightly further away than it appears on the Airbnb map - approx. 30 mins and if walking along the road there are some spots with no pavement. But by car, it is only 5 mins away and is a lovely town. The Cartlodge was less equipped than some other Airbnbs but was good value for money as we booked last minute with a discounted price. It was in a very peaceful setting, and we had a relaxing weekend away.

Comfortable, well equipped accommodation in an easily reached location. Well placed for visiting places of interest. The Cartlodge is a little tired. Whilst passable, the cleaning appeared to be perfunctory.

We had a great time. The office for the company & the owner were friendly. They were quick to respond and deal with any minor issues. The location was excellent, close to lots of facilities and attractions whilst remaining rural. The accessibility features were thoughtful and the whole of the property being step free inside was excellent. We had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend this location and property.
