The property is set in around six acres of idyllic gardens, woodland and meadows and offers a fully equipped, open plan kitchen, living and dining area with views over the countryside on one side and the rear garden on the other.

September 2023Comfortable, well equipped accommodation in an easily reached location. Well placed for visiting places of interest. The Cartlodge is a little tired. Whilst passable, the cleaning appeared to be perfunctory.

August 2023The Cartlodge was a great base for our long weekend in Suffolk. It was comfortable and ideal for exploring Framlingham and the coast. The games room was an added benefit! The instructions to find the Cartlodge were clear, and it was easy to check in and out. The Old Mill House pub is walkable (take a torch if walking back late!) and does a daily carvery. Framlingham is slightly further away than it appears on the Airbnb map - approx. 30 mins and if walking along the road there are some spots with no pavement. But by car, it is only 5 mins away and is a lovely town. The Cartlodge was less equipped than some other Airbnbs but was good value for money as we booked last minute with a discounted price. It was in a very peaceful setting, and we had a relaxing weekend away.
